How do I submit an order?
Contact your sales rep via e-mail or telephone. Your rep can walk you through every step. We will need the shirt style, color, and quantity. Please give us a date when your order needs to be completed. Art is addressed below.
Do I need to submit artwork?
No, but it will be very helpful. If you send a vectorized logo in a PDF, AI, or EPS, we can convert your art into our program at no charge to you.
If you have an idea and want us to create the art for you, we can certainly help. Landmarx has 3 very creative graphic artists on staff. We charge $45.00 per hour for art that takes over 30 minutes to create.
Check out our Submitting Artwork page for more information about usable and unusable artwork.
How long does the order take to produce?
As a rule, we tell our customers we need two weeks to produce an order. We need to give our art department 4-5 days to complete your art.
If you need your product sooner, please contact your sales rep. If it’s a hot job and it makes sense, we can turn your order around pretty quick. The biggest variables are the amount of artwork we have and the number of jobs we have scheduled in production.
Does Landmarx produce less than 12 shirts?
It is cost prohibitive to produce less than 12 shirts. The biggest part of the cost of your shirt is the production. The cost involved in creating the art, producing screens, setting your job on the press, printing, packaging, and processing the paperwork cost the same whether we do 12 shirts or 1,000 shirts. So, if it cost $200.00 for everything mentioned above to produce 1,000 shirts, you will pay $0.20 per shirt for labor. If you only order 12 shirts, your cost of the same $200.00 divided by 12 shirts, your price per shirt for labor jumps up to $16.67 each.
Can Landmarx produce large orders?
Absolutely. We can produce up to 700 shirts per hour or 5,000-6,000 shirts per day. If your job is for 30,000 impressions it will take us 5-6 days, so please give us plenty of time to work your order into our production schedule.
How is Pricing determined?
Pricing is based on several factors:
- Quantity of shirts
- Number of Colors
- Number of Locations
- Amount of time required for Art
Can I add to my order?
This is a tricky question. If you need to add to an order that is scheduled to print next week, we should be okay. It depends on where the shirts are coming from.
If your order is printing over the next two days, it will be pushed backed 3-4 days. Most of our product ships to us within a few days, but we do have product that comes from California which takes 4 days.
Will my price stay the same if I add to my order?
If you are able to add shirts to your larger order before it is produced, yes your price will remain the same.
If you order shirts after the original order is produced, your new order will be treated as a separate order, which means your prices will be different. This, of course, depends on the quantity. The breakdown of the cost structure is covered in the section above, “Does Landmarx produce less than 12 shirts?”
