Embroidery
How do I submit an order?
Contact your sales rep via e-mail or telephone. Your rep can walk you through every step. We will need the shirt style, color, and quantity. Please give us a date when your order needs to be completed. Art is addressed below.
Do I need to submit artwork for Embroidery?
No, but it will be very helpful. Please send a vectorized logo in a PDF, AI, or EPS.
If you do not have your logo, we can create it for you. Landmarx has 2 very creative graphic artists on staff. We charge $45.00 per hour for art that takes over 30 minutes to create.
There is a one-time digitizing fee. Your art needs to be converted to our embroidery program which is done offsite. Once we have your digitized logo on file, you will not be charged for a digitizing fee on future orders.
Check out our Submitting Artwork page for more information about usable and unusable artwork.
Digitizing Fee
1-4,000 stitches $45.00
4,001-12,000 stitches $55.00
12,501- 16,000 stitches $65.00
16,001-25,000 stitches $101.00
25,001-40,000 stitches $150.00
40,001-80,000 stitches $185.00
80,001-Greater $225.00
How long does the order take to produce?
As a rule, we tell our customers we need two weeks to produce an order. We need to give our art department 4-5 days to complete your art.
If you need your product sooner, please contact your sales rep. If it’s a hot job and it makes sense, we can turn your order around pretty quick. The biggest variables are the amount of artwork we have and the number of jobs we have scheduled in production.
Does Landmarx produce less than 6 shirts?
It may be cost prohibitive to produce less than 6 shirts for embroidery. The biggest part of the cost of your shirt is the production. The cost involved in creating the art, digitizing your logo, setting your job on the embroidery machines, production, packaging, and processing the paperwork cost the same whether we do 6 shirts or 100 shirts. So, if it cost $100.00 for everything mentioned above to produce 100 shirts, you will pay $1.00 per shirt for labor. If you only order 6 shirts, your cost of the same $100.00 divided by 6 shirts, your price per shirt for labor jumps up to $16.67 each.
How is Pricing determined?
Pricing is based on several factors:
- Quantity of shirts
- Number of Colors
- Number of Locations
- Amount of time required for Art
Can I add to my order?
This is a tricky question. If you need to add to an order that is scheduled to be embroidered next week, we should be okay. It depends on where the shirts are coming from.
If your order is scheduled for production within the next two days, it will be pushed backed 3-4 days. Most of our product ships to us within a few days, but we do have product that comes from California which takes 4 days.
Will my price stay the same if I add to my order?
If you are able to add shirts to your larger order before it is produced, yes your price will remain the same.
If you order shirts after the original order is produced, your new order will be treated as a separate order, which means your prices will be different. This, of course, depends on the quantity. The breakdown of the cost structure is covered in the section above, “Does Landmarx produce less than 6 shirts?”
